Hurricane Polo approaches the coast of Mexico

The US National Hurricane Center made a statement about Hurricane Polo, which was effective in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Mexico.

In the statement, it was stated that "Category 3" Hurricane Polo is expected to make landfall in the state of Baja California Sur later today.

In the statement, it was warned that the heavy rains brought by the hurricane could lead to life-threatening floods and landslides, especially in sloping lands, and that large and destructive waves could be seen with storm surge in coastal areas.

On the other hand, as the hurricane approached, maritime activities were stopped, and it was decided to suspend education in schools in the state as a precaution.
