Samsun Atakum Municipality Performs Comprehensive Cleaning in New Pre-Education Schools

Samsun Atakum Municipality is carrying out comprehensive cleaning work in schools before the new academic year. Cleaning Affairs Directorate teams continue to work in and around school gardens so that students can start classes in hygienic conditions.

As part of the work carried out in primary schools, secondary schools and high schools, garbage is collected, gardens are washed with pressurized water and common areas are cleaned. Cleaning works have been completed in many schools, including Hüseyin Avni Asal Primary School, National Education Foundation Primary School and Şehit Onbaşı Yücel Ünsal Primary School. Atakum Municipality aims to complete its work in all schools within the city borders before the academic year that will start on Monday, September 14.

Atakum Mayor Serhat Türkel conveyed his wishes of success to students, teachers and parents in the new term and said that they are doing the necessary work to ensure that children can receive education in healthier environments. Türkel said, "We are carrying out intensive cleaning work in our schools across Atakum so that our children can receive education in more hygienic and healthy environments in the new education period. We will complete our work before our students start class."
