Sejusp investigates death of major after incident involving off-duty agents

In a statement, the State Secretariat for Justice and Public Security (Sejusp) lamented the death of the major and expressed condolences to his family and military friends.

According to the statement, the Civil Police is investigating the facts, which involve alleged security agents who were off duty at the time of the incident. Sejusp also informed that all those involved were presented at Ciosp, and that the competent police forces are adopting the appropriate investigation measures.

The case remains under investigation by the Homicide and Personal Protection Police Department (DHPP), which must hear witnesses and analyze evidence to clarify the circumstances of the confusion.
