'Serenity', says AC Communications secretary after requesting dismissal from position

Acre's Communications Secretary, Nayara Lessa, resigned from her position last Friday (25). Request was delivered to governor Mailza Assis (PP).

In a letter published this Saturday (26), the journalist stated that he leaves the government with 'serenity'.

Journalist started at Secom in 2019 and took over as secretary in December 2021. She remained in the role after Mailza took over the government.

Less than ten days before the elections, the journalist and Secretary of State for Communication of Acre, Nayara Lessa, resigned from her position last Friday (25) after almost five years in charge of the department.

The request was forwarded to governor Mailza Assis (PP). However, there is still no publication in the Official State Gazette (DOE) until the last update of this report.

The departure comes amid the dismissals of relatives of the former secretary. In the DOE on the 15th, Mailza exonerated Nayara's husband, Samuel Cabral Feitosa, as well as her sister Alice Pessoa Lessa and cousin Marcia Cristina Lessa de Medeiros.

This Saturday (26), Lessa published a farewell letter in which she said she was ending her cycle in government and thanked the people she worked with during the period. Mailza, who is running for re-election, was not mentioned.

The former secretary wrote that she leaves her role with serenity and that she takes with her recognition for the work carried out in public communication.

''Today I end my cycle as head of the State Secretariat of Communication with the serenity of someone who looks at my journey and recognizes in it work, dedication, loyalty and, above all, commitment to a project that I helped to build'', he wrote.

In the letter, Nayara also thanks former governor Gladson Cameli (PP), who appointed her secretary in December 2021, and the other employees of the State Secretariat for Communication (Secom).

Nayara also highlighted that 'positions belong to circumstances' and that coherence remains. When saying goodbye, she stated that she is moving forward with peace of mind.

Trajectory

Nayara began working in the Acre government's communications structure in 2019, initially as director of Journalism at Secom.

Before that, it passed through the Amazon Network, the State Department of Health and Fecomércio-AC communication.

In December 2021, she officially took charge of Secom. The appointment occurred after the departure of then secretary Rutembergue Crispim. At the time, Nayara was already responsible for the portfolio on a cumulative basis.

Nayara has a degree in Journalism and a master's degree in Literature: Language and Identity from the Federal University of Acre (Ufac).

She remained in the position during Gladson Cameli's administration and continued to head Communication after the change in command of the state government, in April this year, when Mailza Assis took over the government.
