Six-year-old Lian Yunzhi set two world records for solving Rubik's Cube

During two World Cube Association-certified competitions this month in Wuhan and Guangzhou, Lian Yunzhi broke the record twice. Her average results from five trials were 4.52 and 4.27 seconds.

The competition in which the six-year-old took part involves the competitor solving the cube five times and then calculating the average time.

According to CCTV, the girl from Chengdu is the first athlete to achieve an average of less than 4.5 seconds.

In the recording published by the broadcaster, Lian can be seen quickly turning the dice, and after completing the task, he puts it on the table, claps and raises his fist in a gesture of joy.

Daily training and over 1,300 algorithms

Six-year-old "Zhizhi", in addition to Rubik's Cube classes, also tried dance and music lessons. Her mother told local media that the little one focused on her first activity over time.
