이용객이 가장 많이 몰릴 것으로 예상된 날은 공항 출발 기준 24일(13만1천999명), 도착 기준 27일(13만9천695명)이다.
출발·도착을 합친 총여객이 가장 많을 것으로 예상된 날은 27일(24만7천18명)로, 지난해 추석 연휴 하루 최다 여객인 22만8천846명보다 7.9% 많다.
공사는 최근 내국인 해외여행 수요가 설·추석 연휴에 집중된 점을 고려해 여객 흐름 관리를 비롯한 특별교통 대책을 시행하기로 했다.
먼저 출국 수요에 대비해 셀프체크인과 셀프백드롭 이용 항공사를 확대하고, 보안검색 인력과 장비를 최대 수준으로 운용한다.
