Three elementary school students were rescued from drowning at Uljin Beach in Gyeongsangbuk-do.

(Uljin = Yonhap News) Reporter Han Mu-seon = Three female elementary school students fell into the water at a beach in Uljin, Gyeongsangbuk-do and were rescued by county office staff and the 119 dispatch team.

According to the Gyeongbuk Fire Department on the 13th, a report was received at around 11:30 a.m. that three teenagers, all elementary school students, had fallen into the seawater at Nagok Beach in Buk-myeon, Uljin-gun.

One of the three people was rescued in good condition by a county office employee who was on patrol at the time and handed over to the police, and two people were rescued in cardiac arrest by the nearby 119 Safety Center dispatch team while drifting, but spontaneous circulation was restored through on-site first aid.

The two people who received first aid were each transported to the hospital by fire helicopter.

The police are investigating the details of the accident with witnesses.
