13일 경북소방본부에 따르면 이날 오전 11시 30분께 울진군 북면 나곡해수욕장에서 초등학생들인 10대 3명이 바닷물에 빠졌다는 신고가 접수됐다.

3명 중 1명은 당시 순찰 중이던 군청 직원이 양호한 상태로 구조해 경찰에 인계했고, 2명은 표류 중 인근 119안전센터 출동대에 의해 심정지 상태로 구조됐으나 현장 응급처치로 자발적 순환을 회복했다.

응급처치를 받은 2명은 각각 소방헬기를 이용해 병원으로 이송됐다.

경찰은 목격자 등을 상대로 자세한 사고 경위를 조사하고 있다.
