Busan City concludes ‘Love Busan’, a residential environment improvement project… Cumulative views exceed 3 million

Busan City announced on the 15th that it has completed the residential environment improvement project ‘Love Busan’.

This project is an example of public-private-academic collaboration that improves the residential environment of vulnerable groups and shares the warmth of the community by recording and sharing the process as content.

Love Busan, which first started last year, has improved the residential environment of two young households preparing for self-reliance.

Content containing the change process garnered a high level of interest and sympathy from citizens, recording more than 3 million cumulative views.

This year, the scope of participation was expanded and Pusan ​​National University, World Vision, Fruit of Love, Saha-gu Community Welfare Center, JoongAng Engineering, Ajeongdang, and IKEA Korea contributed.

For this project, one single-parent family was selected and their housing environment was improved for three months.

The city reorganized the living environment and created a new space suited to the lives of each family member through a process of customized design, installation of furniture and household items, and organization and storage.

We provide a space where families can spend time together and provide expert training to develop storage and organization habits.

The city will also produce content about this space improvement process and publish it on Instagram (@busancity) and YouTube channel (@Busan_is_good) ‘Busan Tube’ from this day.
