It will still be hot everywhere today (September 30), with some areas in the Greater Taipei Basin and the western half of the inland area even more likely to have high temperatures above 36 degrees. The hot weather will change on Friday (October 2). From Friday, the northeast monsoon will move south in waves. Next Monday (October 5) will usher in the most obvious northeast monsoon after autumn. The temperature in the north and east will plummet from the current 30 degrees to the early 20s.
