The Central Meteorological Administration stated that today (30th) it will be sunny and hot weather everywhere, with only sporadic rainfall in the mountainous areas in the afternoon.
In terms of temperature, the high temperature in Keelung and the eastern half today is about 31 to 32 degrees during the day, and it can reach 32 to 36 degrees in the western half. Pay special attention to the greater Taipei Basin and some inland areas in the western half, where there is a possibility of high temperatures above 36 degrees. Ultraviolet rays are strong during the day and can easily reach excessive or dangerous levels. At night, the low temperature in various places in the early morning is generally 24 to 27 degrees.

In terms of weather on the outlying islands, Penghu is sunny and cloudy at 27 to 31 degrees; Kinmen is sunny and cloudy at 27 to 32 degrees; Matsu is sunny and cloudy at 27 to 31 degrees. In addition, during the annual spring tide, the water level along the coast from New Taipei to Changhua and Penghu is relatively high during high tide, and seawater intrusion may occur.
The Meteorological Administration pointed out that Typhoon No. 25 Shuli is based in the southern sea of Japan, moving northeastward, and is about to transform into an extratropical cyclone.
In terms of air quality, Yilan, Huadong Kongpin District and Penghu are at the "Good" level; Zhumiao, Central, Yunjianan, Gaoping Kongpin District, Matsu and Kinmen are at the "Fair" level; and the Northern Kongpin District is at the "Orange Alert" level.
The Meteorological Administration predicts that tomorrow (October 1) will be mostly sunny to cloudy everywhere, with some short-lived showers in the southern region and other mountainous areas in the afternoon. The northeast monsoon will strengthen in the evening, and there will be sporadic short-lived showers in greater Taipei and the northeastern region.
Affected by the northeast monsoon on Friday (2nd), there will be local short-lived showers in the greater Taipei and northeastern regions, and local heavy rains in the northeastern region. There will be scattered short-lived showers in Taoyuan and the eastern region. It will be cloudy to sunny in other areas. There will be local short-lived showers in the southern region and other mountainous areas in the afternoon.
The northeast monsoon will weaken slightly on Saturday (3rd). On Saturday and next Sunday (4th), there will be some short-lived showers on the north coast of Keelung, the eastern half of the area and the Hengchun Peninsula. It will be cloudy to sunny in other areas. There will be some short-lived showers in the southern region and other mountainous areas in the afternoon.
The northeast monsoon will strengthen again next Monday (5th). Under the influence of the northeast monsoon next Tuesday (6th), there will be local short-lived showers in the northern and eastern half of the country and the Hengchun Peninsula. There will also be local heavy rains in the northeastern region. It will be cloudy in other areas. There will be local short-lived showers in the southern region and other mountainous areas in the afternoon.
