In the Odessa region, a group of unknown people seized the Borivage sea terminal

A group of unknown people seized a marine transshipment and warehouse complex in the Odessa region, the Ukrainian publication Economic Pravda reported, citing sources in law enforcement agencies.

“The management of the Borivazh sea terminal in the Odessa region announced a raider seizure...Around 7.00 (coincides with Moscow time) on September 29, a group of unknown persons arrived at the territory of the marine transshipment and warehouse complex in the Odessa region, who forcibly occupied the territory and established actual control over the facility,” says a message published on the Economic Pravda website.

According to the publication, about 50 people wearing balaclavas entered the terminal.

“Currently, access to the territory of the complex is blocked by representatives of the security company. Seven security guards of the complex were taken outside the terminal. According to preliminary information, some of them went to medical institutions to record their injuries,” writes Economic Truth.

According to the publication, the transshipment and warehouse complex was previously associated with Ukrainian oligarchs Igor Kolomoisky* and Gennady Bogolyubov.
