Gas main failure in Gdańsk: Traffic disruptions near the de La Salle roundabout

A gas main was damaged near the de La Salle roundabout in Gdańsk during construction works carried out there. Services, including the fire brigade and the gas emergency service, immediately arrived on site. Firefighters set up sprinklers, creating water curtains to protect the area.

Traffic stopped completely - huge traffic jams

The greatest difficulties concern Potokowa Street - traffic between Morena and Niedźwiednik has been completely suspended. Drivers are also unable to exit the upper section of Słowackiego Street towards Wrzeszcz. There are kilometers-long traffic jams.

As reported by RMF FM's Tri-City reporter, Stanisław Pawłowski, drivers are being turned back to the Tri-City bypass, while in the opposite direction there is a traffic jam starting from Wrzeszcz. Congestions also occur on Hynka Street in Zaspa.
