Korean National Commission for UNESCO holds a talk event on the topic of trust and cooperation in the educational community

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Jeong A-ran = The Korean National Commission for UNESCO will hold a meeting to discuss trust and cooperation in the educational community with teachers, parents, and education experts.

The Korean National Commission for UNESCO announced that it will hold '2026 UNESCO Talk: Classrooms created by trust - the beginning of the recovery of educational communities' at the Korean Broadcasting Center in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul at 7 pm on the 4th.

This event was designed to highlight the importance of trust and cooperation between educational entities such as teachers, parents, and students as the educational environment is rapidly changing.

In the 'Future of Education Report' published in 2021, UNESCO presented 'teachers as collaborative experts' as the teacher who will lead future education. The idea is that teachers should not shoulder all responsibilities alone, but should cooperate with fellow teachers, experts, parents, and the community to support students' learning and growth.

At the event, Kim Seong-hyo, vice principal of Munchang Elementary School, Kang Young-mi, president of the True Education Parents Association, and Kim Hyun-soo, clinical professor at Myongji Hospital, will give lectures and talks.

Vice Principal Kim Seong-hyo has been an educator for 29 years and has given lectures and consultations to students, parents, and teachers, and President Kang Young-mi is active in education issues such as student human rights, college entrance exams, and school safety. Professor Kim Hyun-soo is a psychiatry specialist and the CEO of 'Friends of the Stars', a healing alternative school.
