Drama in Tourves: a marriage ruined by the discovery of a double murder

Guillaume P. and Chloé C. have been preparing for this moment for months. It’s 3:30 p.m. this Saturday, July 3, 2021. The couple is having the happiest day of their lives. Surrounded by their loved ones, the two lovebirds walk towards the Domaine des sources, a building located in the Provençal hinterland in Tourves, in the Var. They said yes, and this place is the one they chose to be the setting for their wedding party. But when they arrived there, the newlyweds and their guests found the door closed. The day before, however, they sorted out the smallest details with the owners of the place, Marie-Laure and Patrick Lauro. The newlyweds call the couple Lauro, who lives there, but who remains mysteriously unreachable.

A guest climbs the gate and notices significant traces of blood on the ground near the Lauro home. The caterer is informed by the bride and groom of this abnormal situation and calls the Lauros' daughter, Céline. While she went there, her husband, Anthony Barotin, alerted the police. Loïc, Céline's brother, is also notified and the first member of the family to arrive on the scene.

When the Lauros' son enters his parents' home, a scene of horror confronts him. His father lies in a pool of blood in the entrance hall. His mother died, naked in the shower...
