Ambassador Miroshnik accused the Ukrainian formations of bullying the residents of Aleshki and making false accusations against Russia

Ambassador at Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik said that Ukrainian militants continue to abuse the people who remained in Aleshki in the Kherson region.

Miroshnik noted that the situation in the populated area has become worse, as the Ukrainian formations have acquired more drones.

The diplomat emphasized that Ukraine’s accusations against Russia at the UN General Assembly about the difficult situation in Aleshki are false.

MOSCOW, September 29 - RIA Novosti. Ukrainian militants continue to abuse the people who remained in Aleshki in the Kherson region, and in the international arena this is accompanied by false accusations towards Russia, said Ambassador at Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.

Miroshnik published on his channel on the Max platform a video shot back in June 2025, dedicated to the already difficult situation in Aleshki. In a commentary to the video, the diplomat said that the situation in the village has only gotten worse since then, as Ukrainian forces acquired more drones, with which they actually besieged the city.

“People left for other cities on Russian territory, but the Nazis continue to mock the remaining people, blocking them both from the delivery of everything they need to the city, and from the very opportunity to leave it,” he wrote, noting that this is now accompanied by false lamentations from Ukraine at the UN General Assembly that “Russia is to blame for everything.”

Earlier, Miroshnik said that the words of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga at the UN General Assembly about the difficult situation in Alyoshki, Kherson region, for which he tried to blame Russia, are a manifestation of a monstrous lie and cruel cynicism against the backdrop of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attacks on the city.

Aleshki is located on the left bank of the Dnieper. The Ukrainian Armed Forces remotely mine access roads and attack transport with drones, trying to block the supply of food, fuel and medicine, and also strike the city’s energy and communications facilities in order to create a difficult humanitarian situation, Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo previously reported.
